The future of the energy grid operation is dispatchable solar power. So storage belongs to PV building hybrid plants. We believe that in a few years storage will be a mandatory requirement for each new solar plant.

The grid auxiliary services available with storage like fast frequency response, black start support and phase shifting in addition to the peak shifting will become a backbone of future stable grid operation.

At Arconi we provide pv+storage concepts for projects from a few MW up to hundreds of MW based on different technologies like e.g. LFP battery chemistry. Energy storage can vary from 1 hour to several hours.

For 24 hour applications we have developed concepts which include conventional thermal components or hydrogen / fuel cell solutions.
